Zero Political Funding Pledge — Version 1.0 — 1 August 2026 Incorporated into the Member Agreement.
1. Licence
1.1 While your Certification is current, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to display the ZPF badge and to describe your business as "Pledged & Screened — Zero Political Funding Pledge", in Australia, in connection with the Declared Group only.
1.2 The licence ends automatically on suspension, revocation, lapse, non-renewal or termination — without the need for notice, though we will notify you.
2. How the badge must be displayed
2.1 Digital: only via the official embed code, which renders live status and links to your verification page. You must not display a static copy, screenshot or modified version of the badge online, cache a "certified" state, or alter the embed so that it fails to reflect live status.
2.2 Print: the A4 certificate we issue may be displayed and reproduced unmodified. It evidences status only as at its issue date and carries a QR code to live verification. Any other printed use of the badge must state the issue date and the verification URL.
2.3 You must not use the badge or scheme name: (a) in a way that suggests we endorse your products, services, prices or conduct generally; (b) as, or as part of, your own trade mark, business name or domain name; (c) in relation to entities outside your Declared Group; or (d) in any misleading way, including describing certification as an audit, guarantee or government accreditation.
3. On suspension or termination
3.1 Within 7 days of notice of suspension, revocation, lapse or termination you must remove all static and printed uses of the badge and certificate from display and cease describing the business as certified, pledged or screened under the scheme. The embedded badge will automatically display "not currently certified"; you may remove the embed at your option.
3.2 If certification is reinstated (for example on payment within the 60-day window), the embed resumes automatically and printed material may be redisplayed.
4. Take-down and enforcement
4.1 We may issue a take-down notice for any display that breaches these terms. You must comply within 7 days. Continued display of the badge, or of a "certified" representation, after the licence has ended is a material breach of the Member Agreement, and — because status is public — may also be misleading conduct under the Australian Consumer Law, for which you are solely responsible.
4.2 We may publish nothing about the reason your status changed; the public register will simply show "not currently certified", consistent with the two-state rule.
5. Ownership
The badge, scheme name and marks remain our property. Goodwill from your use accrues to us as scheme operator.
