What certification costs
One flat annual fee. No tiers, no per-seat pricing, and nothing to pay unless your application is approved.
AUD $30 + GST first year
AUD $33 including GST. Then AUD $60 + GST a year (AUD $66 including GST).
The reduced first year is a launch rate for businesses certified on or before 31 December 2026.
What the fee covers
- Screening of your declared group against the published AEC Transparency Register
- A decision made by a person, not automatically
- Your listing on the public register for as long as certification is current
- The badge, in embeddable form, with live status
- A verification page anyone can check, and a certificate you can print
- Annual renewal, including re-screening
Applying is free
Application and screening cost nothing. The fee is payable only if your application is approved — you are never charged to be assessed, and never charged if you are declined. Most applications take under 15 minutes.
GST and invoicing
Prices are shown exclusive of GST because that is how the fee is set; GST is added at checkout. A tax invoice is issued for every payment.
